#eatclean: Salmon Week

This week, my protein comes from salmon. Bought about 0.3kg of salmon and decided to use it for 2 rounds of #eatcleanday. Vegetables and carbo remains the same.

Lemon Salmon with Potato and Capsicum

Ingredients and prices as follows:

1/2 Salmon (season with lemon, pepper and salt) = $8.66/2 = $4.33

1 whole Capsicum = $0.48

1/10 potatoes = $5.65/10 = 0.57

Miso Soup = Free from Japan

Total cost: $5.38

Approx total calories from food: 348 

Approx total calories from miso soup: 150


Lemon Salmon noodles with broccoli

Ingredients and prices as follows:

1/2 Salmon (season with lemon, pepper and salt) = $8.66/2 = $4.33

1/2 broccoli = $1.30 / 2 =$0.65

1/8 of noodle = $1.55/8 = $0.19

Enoki = Free

Total cost: $5.17

Approx total calories: 375

 

I believe by preparing your own food, you will have lesser calories count, due to the seasoning.
