Decluttering (Part One)

I spent the entire Christmas morning decluttering my books. These are the amount of books I manage to declutter.

They are mostly management and events management books from the past. On top of that, some old chinese books which I didn’t think is worth keeping anymore.

I had a hard time managing my books. I tend to buy and buy, without noticing that I have no time to read it. Look at the books I have yet to read on the middle and left hand side.

I tried to curb myself from buying more physical books. It resulted a massive, unstoppable purchases from DangDang, a Chinese ebook store, and till date I had over 100 ebooks in my Dang Dang library (To be exact, it’s 111, and still counting). Can you imagine how scary it is?? 😱

This isn’t an end. Not only did I read chinese books, I started collecting Korean books and self-study language books. Everytime I go overseas, I had to patronise the local bookstore, and there will always be 2 to 3 books ended up in my luggage.

Did I contracted some form of psycological illness known as books obsession?
